How we compare on wosneaker.de

Explained transparently: where our sneaker prices come from, how often we update them, how the order is determined and how we are funded.

  • Sources: Amazon, eBay and AliExpress
  • Synchronised several times a day
  • Last synchronisation: 18/10/2026

Specifically for sneakers

We collect sneaker offers from several shops and marketplaces, match brand, model and size, and store every price with a timestamp so you can see the price history. By default, our topic pages only show new goods and hide accessories such as socks or repair patches, as well as offers with signs of counterfeiting. As we can't inspect the shoes ourselves, we don't rate models; instead, we explain buying criteria such as fit, material and cushioning.

Where do the prices come from?

wosneaker.de brings together offers from large marketplaces. We obtain the product data – title, image, price, retailer and, where available, ratings – automatically via the providers' official partner interfaces. We do not type in prices by hand and do not use data from unofficial sources.

The offers on wosneaker.de currently come from Amazon, eBay and AliExpress (German shops).

  • Amazon: via the Amazon Associates programme
  • eBay: via the eBay Partner Network
  • AliExpress: via the AliExpress affiliate programme

How up to date is the data?

The data is synchronised automatically: the top offers on the home page roughly every two hours, the entire product catalogue at least twice a day. Products that are no longer available are removed from the comparison; their pages remain accessible for reference but are clearly marked as no longer listed.

Since July 2026 we have been storing the synchronised prices continuously. Where there are enough data points, the product page shows the price history and a price assessment – for example, whether an offer is currently below the average of the last 30 days.

What counts is always the retailer's price at the time of your purchase. It may change between two synchronisations; shipping costs may apply depending on the retailer.

How do we sort?

The default sort order “Popular” first shows products with a current price, ordered by the customer rating at the retailer and then by the sales rank supplied by the marketplace. Alternatively, you can sort by price (ascending or descending) or by discount.

On our comparison and brand pages we hide used goods and only show sneakers that match the topic – selection rules such as price range or features are defined per topic.

How is the site funded?

Products linked with “To the offer” are commission links (affiliate links). If you buy through them, we receive a commission from the retailer. The price does not change for you. That is why all offers on wosneaker.de are labelled as “Ad”.

The amount of commission has no influence on selection or order: only product data such as price, rating, sales rank and discount feed into the sorting. There are no paid placements.

What we don't do

We do not test products in a lab ourselves and do not award test scores. Our guides and comparison pages explain buying criteria, technology and legal matters and show you which models are available at what price – the decision is yours.

Customer ratings come from the marketplaces; we do not invent or alter ratings.
